Lord, this new year You have our full attention; our eyes are fixed on You. We ask You to burn away every distraction and tear down the walls so You can move. We won't hesitate to give you the glory due Your Name. Please open up the gates of heaven; we seek You right here, right now ...
1Chronicles 16:11 - “Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.”
King Jesus, You've won all our affection and we’re looking to You to guide our every step.
Hebrews 12:2-3 – “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.”
Today’s song is a worship song. The Bible speaks of praising our LORD but worship goes beyond praise. Worship should be reserved for God alone; God is a Spirit and we must worship Him in spirit.
John 4:24 - “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
In order to worship God in spirit and truth, we must humble ourselves, surrender fully and adore Him for Who He is, not just what He has done.
Healing starts and lives are changed with You, precious Saviour! Our eyes are focused on You!
Right here, right now we seek You, LORD! We worship You today!
