America's 250th Anniversary

There's a major upcoming event for Christianity in the nation’s capital on May 17 -- every American is invited to the National Mall for a jubilee of prayer, praise and thanksgiving. The Trump administration's "Rededicate 250" event is the 250th anniversary of May 17, 1776, when the Continental Congress dedicated the day to fasting, humiliation and prayer. This year, Americans are being encouraged to join their fellow patriots in Washington, D.C. and rededicate themselves as ‘one nation under God.'
