Pain, the gift nobody longs for, still it comes and somehow leaves us stronger when it’s gone. But I confess it's never gone fast enough for me. When I’m hurting, I want to feel the arms of Jesus surround me and let me know that it's okay, to be here in this place, resting in the peace that only comes in the waiting.
Jesus, I know it’s time to let it go and just believe; trusting in what no one else but You can see; to be free from the fears that close me in, when I can't get beyond where I have been. I know You’re with me and I pray for Your will to be done. Silence in the waiting doesn’t mean that I’m alone. Sometimes the hardest part is the waiting. Jesus, give me peace beyond my understanding.
Ephesians 6:10-11 – “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” John 16:33 - “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Even God’s own son Jesus suffered in rejection, beaten hung on the cross while suffering until his physical death. Read Matthew 27:32-56
If you’re in emotional or physical pain, feeling lonely and need to be made whole, trust and know that in His mercy, His amazing grace can raise the broken to life. He wants to save your lost soul! He wants to take your failures and weakness and turn them into triumph and strength.
