When you leave this earth, how will you be remembered? Will your life have made a difference? More importantly, will your life have made a difference for JESUS?
Matthew 5:13-16 – “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Has your life reflected His Word? Have you shared the gospel message with those you’ve encountered along the way? That's what this life is all about! It's not about good deeds ... good deeds are nice but they don't get you to heaven.
It’s not about US, it’s about JES-US.
Mark 16:15 - “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
How are you spending the dash between your date of birth – date of death?
It’s never too late to share the good news of our Saviour!
Luke 12:34–“For where your treasure is, there will your he art be also.”
In the end, what’s in between your “dash” should be a love story … about our Saviour and how He made this life worth living!
When you leave this earth, when your dash expires, do you know where you'll spend eternity?
