Are you a Patriot?
As we celebrate the nationhood of our United States these next few days, we must also recognize we are losing our nation to evil at an accelerated pace. There was a time when believers were Patriots and helped lead the charge to win freedom for our new nation.
NOW it is time for believers to lead the charge to restore our nation. Not politicians … but believers.
BELIEVER = a person who has been spiritually born by faith through a heart-felt confession that God raised the Lord Jesus from the dead.

The believers of yesteryear didn’t have state-of-the-art communications or weaponry and many of them didn’t have formal military training. What they did have, however, was a voice. Pastors and the local church were willing to speak up and preach the truth! Mighty men don’t get the job done with their silence.
The Word of God applies to every single topic of the day … marriage is between one man and one woman … abortion--thou shalt not kill a living human being … innocent until proven guilty … all men are created equal … honour your father and your mother … God is Creator and in control of the universe, just to name a few.
We need preachers and believers to tackle the tough topics and give biblical depth to the current issues. Many Christ-followers today don’t have a biblical worldview or know how the Bible applies to real life. The Body of Christ needs to develop a passion for God's glory!
The Declaration of Independence is not only a political statement but a spiritual statement. Christ-followers and in particular Pastors should grasp the significance of their influence in the Body of Christ and lead this nation into a desperately needed spiritual awakening!
America does indeed have a Godly heritage and God is in the Constitution of the United States.
