We have been busy cleaning out the house of a loved one who recently passed away, working hard getting everything packed up, loaded up and ready for a sale or donation. Besides the physical work, there are many emotions involved in this endeavor of love and it is exhausting.
After another long day, we were finally home and winding down, when we received the most wonderful phone call from one of our 7-year-old twin granddaughters with the best news you could ever receive: “Pops and Nana, guess what? I asked Jesus into my heart tonight!” She was so excited and her mother confirmed it was a heartfelt confession. Glory Alleluia! Our baby girl is saved, saved, saved! Romans 10:13 - “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Thank you, Jesus!
When you accept the gift of salvation from our Saviour, you walk in forgiveness; all of your guilt and sin are erased. If you have tasted His saving grace, you know that 'becoming new' feeling. 2Corinthians 5:17 - “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” The chains of the past are broken at last! I got saved!
Romans 3:23 - “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
Romans 6:23 - “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 10:9-10 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
There is a river of gladness that pours from Emmanuel's veins.
This sinner was plunged beneath the flood and got saved!
I'm undone by the mercy of Jesus! I'm undone by the goodness of the Lord!
I'm restored and made right, He got a hold of my life.
I've got Jesus, how could I want more?
The love of God gives us His pardon and we don't stay the same. We’re restored, made right. If you've got Jesus, how could you want more?
