Today’s song is an oldie but goodie. I remember first hearing it years ago when our kids sang it in a Christmas play at church service. The words and music captivated me and I couldn’t get it out of my head. I still love this song! It calls lost souls to Jesus and fills us with Hope. In today’s world, we need Hope and the Love of our Saviour more than ever!
Weak and wounded sinner, lost and left to die, raise your head for Love is passing by! Come to Jesus and live! Once your burden's lifted and carried far away, and precious blood has washed away the stain, sing to Jesus and live! Like a newborn baby, don't be afraid to crawl; remember when we walk, sometimes we fall. So fall on Jesus and live!
Romans 10:9-10 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Sometimes the wait is lonely, it's deep and filled with pain. If your sky is dark and coursed with rain, cry to Jesus and live! And when the Love spills over and music fills the night; when you can't contain your joy inside, dance for Jesus and live!
Ephesians 2:8 –“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:”
With your final heartbeat, kiss the world goodbye; go in peace, and laugh on glory's side. Fly to Jesus and live!
