King of Our Hearts
God is good! He’s the King of Kings and King of my heart! There’s no mountain too high, no river too wide, no problem too big for my King! He’s the God of the impossible Who reigns forever! He’s the mountain where I run, the fountain I drink from. Oh, He is my song! Let the King of my heart be the shadow where I hide, the ransom for my life … because He is good!
Revelation 19:13, 16 – “And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” John 18:36 - “Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” Isaiah 9:7 - “Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever …” Daniel 7:14 - “And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”
Do you know the King of my heart? My prayer is that He’s your King too. He sits on the throne and reigns for eternity. He is worthy! May He always be the wind inside our sails, the anchor in our waves. May King Jesus be the fire inside our veins, the echo of our days. Lord, You are our song! Your grace is amazing and Your mercy endures forever! You are the King of our hearts and You are so, so good!
