Christian, we can make a difference in this world, even by the little things we do for others. So many are alone and hurting, especially right now in these trying times. Let the Love of God shine through and go Light your little corner of the world! It only takes a little time to show someone how much you care; it only takes a little time to answer someone's prayer.
Matthew 22:36-38 – “Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment.” 1John 4:21 - “And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.” 1John 3:18 - “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”
Take flowers to a widow/widower you know to brighten their day. Send a get-well card or write a letter to someone who is sick or just had surgery (it’s fun to get mail the old-fashioned way!). Take cookies to and visit with an elderly person. Text your favorite Bible verse to friends. Spend time in God’s Word with a co-worker. Share the gospel! Read the Bible to someone whose eyesight is failing (if you can’t visit in person, read over the phone). Pray for those on your prayer list and let them know you’re praying for them. Share this message with someone. There are many things we can do to show the Love of God. Be creative! Go, Light Your World!
