Here’s a simple song that the whole world should sing along … a love song. God’s Word is a love letter to us, not only filled with wisdom and instruction, but also songs/psalms for our daily living and encouragement. God is the very definition of Love … agape love. Different from sexual love or brotherly love, agape love is of and from God, whose very nature is love itself.
1John 4:8 - “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” Everything God does flows from His love. Agape is also used to describe our love for God. Luke 10:27 - “And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.”
What the world needs now is Love! Love will encourage and lift you. Show a little love to someone today … you might even change their eternity!
