My Place in this World
Ever feel like you’re just standing still, with a life full of pages waiting to be filled? With a head full of dreams and a hopeful heart, you’re looking for a reason … for your place in this world? It seems harder than you thought and you’re roaming through the night, wondering since there are millions of others down on their knees, can God still hear me asking, “Where do I belong? Is there a vision that I can call my own?” Psalms 139:13-14 – “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made: marvellous [are] thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.” Jeremiah 29:11 - “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Job 42:1-2 – “Then Job answered the LORD, and said, 2 I know that thou canst do every [thing], and [that] no thought can be withholden from thee.” Colossians 1:16 - “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:”
Friend, we can’t do this thing alone. We need Jesus to help us make it through, to help us find our purpose. Remember that we are created for God’s purpose, not ours. His Guiding Light will illuminate our path to fulfillment, not only in this life but for eternity. Read His Word each day, talk to Him and ask for wisdom and guidance. If you haven’t already, ask Him to save your soul. You were created for a heavenly purpose and with Jesus, you can have peace and find the place where you belong.
