Shoulders

When confusion's my companion and despair holds me for ransom, I will feel no fear. I know my Lord is near. When I'm caught deep in the valley with chaos for my company, I find comfort here with You, Jesus. My help comes from You! You're right here, pulling me through. You carry my weakness, my sickness, my brokenness all on Your shoulders.

2Corinthians 1:3-4 – “Blessed [be] God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” Psalms 55:22 - “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” Psalms 91:2 - “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”

Lord Jesus, You mend what once was shattered and You turn my tears to laughter. Your forgiveness is my fortress, Your mercy is relentless! My help comes from You. You are my rest, my rescue. I don't have to see to believe that You're lifting me up on Your shoulders. Today’s Song – Watch/Listen: “Shoulders” – Artists: for King and Country
