Here’s a simple song that the whole world should sing along … a Love song (Today's Song below). God’s Word is a love letter to us, not only filled with wisdom and instruction, but also songs/Psalms for our daily living and encouragement.
God is the very definition of Love … agape love. The Greek word ‘agape' (ἀγάπη listen to pronunciation here) is different from sexual love or brotherly love; agape love is of and from God, whose very nature is love itself.
1John 4:8 - “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”
Everything God does flows from His love. Agape also describes the love a Christ-follower should have for God. Luke 10:27 - “And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.”
Always desire more OF God, but never desire more THAN God.
What the world needs now is Love! John 15:12 – “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.”
Love will encourage and lift you. Show a little love to someone today … you might even change their eternity!
