Those Red Letters

How do you start each morning? Are you one of those who hit the ‘snooze’ on the alarm five times before you finally roll out of bed? Or do you get up a little early so you can take a minute to greet the day? Maybe even spend some time in God’s Word or in prayer?
Today’s song is one of my favorites. It’s upbeat tempo brings a smile to my face; the lyrics encourage you to spend some time with your Maker and ask Him to guide and prepare you for another day in this crazy world. It reminds you to walk by faith; to listen to those ‘red letter’ words, each one there for a reason, each word matters! Hide it in your heart so you'll have it with you.
2Timothy 3:16-17 - "All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." James 1:22 - “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
Yes, I do believe it's gonna be another red letter day!
CHALLENGE: Does your Bible say "throughly" or "thoroughly" in Verse 17 above? What is the difference? It's one of THOUSANDS of changes the new versions make. Be sure you're reading God's true Word!
