We Are America
Happy Labor Day! Hopefully you have taken time to rest and be with family and friends. If you missed Friday's blog post for Labor Day, you may want to check it out. In the meantime, let's remember how blessed we are to live in this great country ... a country like no other, America the Beautiful. We must always remember and thank God for the freedoms we enjoy, and the opportunity Jesus gives for the greatest freedom of all ... eternal freedom from sin.
Romans 8:1-5 - "[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit."
Thank you, Lord, for establishing our great country. You are first and foremost our Authority. Thank you, American Worker, for your contribution to the strength, prosperity and well-being of the United States of America.
Romans 13:1 - "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God."
