Would anyone notice if tonight I disappeared? Would anyone chase me and say the words that I need to hear? That I'm no burden, not so worthless. I’m bent so much that I just might break; it’s all-consuming, so confusing … the questions that keep me awake. Would anyone care, would anyone cry if I finally stepped off of this ledge tonight? Would anything change, would you all be just fine? Would anyone want me if they knew what was inside my head? Would anyone see me for the person that I really am? I won't lie, it’s so hard to hide that I've never felt worthy of love. I would give up everything I have just to feel good enough. I need a reason to not throw the fight … it just might save my life.
Psalms 139:1-4 – “O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.” Psalms 139:14 - “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:…” 1Peter 2:9 - “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation … that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” 2Corinthians 12:9a - “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness …” Ephesians 2:10 - “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Romans 8:38-39 – “… neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers … nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God ...”
If you're dying inside, sick of being alive, let Jesus in! Jesus loves you, this I know! Ask him into your heart and let Him share your pain. From my lungs, through the dark, spoken straight from the heart … let me give you a reason to stay = Jesus! He cares! If you're out there still lying awake, still wondering would anyone care? Yes! The God of this universe created you with a purpose! He cares! The world would be changed if you left it behind. You can't be replaced! No, tonight is the night you take back your life … come meet my Jesus, He’s your Saviour too!
