God, we are so undeserving, yet we worship. We are your humble servants, singing the glory of the gospel. You covered us with grace and a love so unconditional! My sin made me unworthy, but I’ll never be perfect. You sent Your Son to take my burden, despite all of my downfalls. You are stronger than any sin, and more precious than silver or gold. So even if the drum stops beating, my soul will keep on singing … even louder!
James 4:10 - “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” Psalms 55:22 - “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” 1John 1:9 - “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Psalms 150:2 - “Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.” Proverbs 8:19 - “My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.” Psalms 100:2 - “Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” Psalms 109:30 - “I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.”
Where many see me fail, God sees me prevail! The bigger the trials that hit, the louder my praise gets! When I sing this song, I feel Him respond! When I lift my voice, heaven comes to earth! I want to be in Your presence, Lord! Thank you for saving my soul! I want to sing to You for the rest of my days … to lift Your Name on high … and each day I will sing even louder!
