For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to save us from eternal damnation. Whosoever believes in Him ... anyone ... will not perish but have eternal life. His Love can set you free from the bondage of sin! Won't you Accept His gift? John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Believer, hold to the cross! By the grace of our Saviour, we are redeemed! By His blood we have been set free! Surrender all to Him, for through Him "whosoever" are saved.
Probably the most famous verse, John 3:16. Versions of the Bible change the words "only begotten" to "the One and Only" (NIV) or "Only Son" (ESV), changing the meaning that Christ was uniquely the only one begotten of the Father. Is "begotten" in this verse of the Bible you're reading? "Begotten" means "became the Father of". God didn't create Jesus, but He became the Father of Jesus. (Jesus is God in the flesh - John 1:14, Phil. 2:6) Which "bible" are you reading? It matters!
