Jesus was praying on the day that He would die; fulfilling His Fathers' wishes, He never questioned why. From the beginning, He knew how it would end ... yet still, He was singing heaven's hymn.
Mark 14:35-36 - "And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. 36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things [are] possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt."
When I close my eyes, I can see Him there; down upon His knees, praying His prayers. Sometimes I feel like I'm standing there with Him and we are singing heaven's hymn. I know that some sweet day when I'm called away and I go home to be with Him, He'll be standing by my side and we'll be singing heaven's hymn.
