When you hear the words "grace", "peace" or "comfort", Who or what comes to mind?

2Corinthians 1:2-5 - "Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ."

God's amazing grace ...

The word "grace" appears in the Bible 159 times. Our souls are saved by the grace of God. We are born into sin and destined for hell. But God humbled Himself and became flesh, took our sin and nailed it to the Cross, so that we might live. We cannot earn salvation -- it is God's gift. But like any gift, you must accept it.

Ephesians 2:8-9 - "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."

"Amazing Grace" - Artist: Carrie Underwood

God’s grace is His unmerited favor, something we receive, even though we don’t deserve it. God’s grace is abundant and never-ending. We may feel unworthy when we receive His grace, but it teaches us humility and paves the way for peace in our hearts and relationships.

2Corinthians 12:9 - “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

The word "peace" appears 400 times in the Bible. We serve the Lord of peace. It is through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that gives us peace with God, and enables us to enjoy the presence of God.

2Thessalonians 3:16 - “Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.”

Peace from God is far different than peace in the world.

John 14:27 - “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

The word "comfort" appears in the Bible 62 times, often pointing to God's Word for comfort.

Psalms 119:50 - “This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.” (quickened=made alive)
1Thessalonians 4:18 - “Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (context=those in Christ [the saved] going to heaven)

We challenge you to read God's Word every day and grow closer to Him.

James 4:8a - “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you ..."

Choose grace, peace and comfort. CHOOSE HEAVEN ... CHOOSE GOD!
