Imagine walking into a brand new mansion in the most beautiful neighborhood, only to discover it is yours! Jesus has a mansion in heaven waiting for His followers. John 14:2 - “In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”
Christ makes all things new! Revelation 21:5 - “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
One day God will make a new heaven, and new earth; a ‘new Jerusalem’. There will be perfect happiness in the presence of God and the Lamb in this holy city. Christ-followers will be in their glorified bodies and the old world full of sorrows and troubles will have passed away.
Revelation 21:1-4 – “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
John saw a city that could not be hidden
John caught a glimpse of the golden throne
I want to go to that city he saw …
New Jerusalem.
John saw the lion lay down by the lamb
And he saw the saints worship the great I AM
Crying worthy, worthy is The Lamb!
I want to go to that city he saw …
New Jerusalem.
You must be saved by the blood of the Lamb and have your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life in order to claim your mansion. Don’t delay! Carpe diem!
Jesus Christ brings pure, refreshing, abundant and eternal joy! If that doesn’t make you smile, nothing will :)
