Liked By Many or Loved By One?

Michael Jackson. Babe Ruth. Donald Trump. Whitney Houston. Tom Brady. Patrick Mahomes. Michael Jordan. Do you recognize these names? Most are “Hall-of-Famers” or famous in the eyes of the average American. If your name were included with these, would the general public know or recognize who you are?
Worldly speaking, most of us are considered to be an “average Joe,” an ordinary person embodying the characteristics of an average American.
Spiritually speaking, Christ-followers (those born spiritually) have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (a/k/a "God's Hall of Fame.")
Revelation 3:5 - “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”

Your name in The Hall of Fame here Receiving an Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe, Super Bowl ring, Commissioner’s Trophy, Championship Trophy, Triple Crown, Grand Slam of Golf … means being “the best of the best” here in this world … and lasts temporarily. It is unlikely, but possible, that a name be removed for misconduct. In any case, you can’t take it with you!
Your name in God’s Hall of Fame God’s gift of Salvation ensures your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life, which is greater by far … it cannot be removed ... it lasts for eternity ... if accepted, you can and do take it with you!
Would you rather be an “unknown” here or have your name written in heaven, up there?
Yes, it is possible and undeniable that many worldly famous people also have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and that is extraordinary! It is the choice of eternal life that makes someone great, not a temporal accomplishment here on earth.
Physical life is fleeting; eternal life is unending.
John 17:3 - “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
While there is nothing wrong with being well-known while here in this world … which would you choose: loved by One or liked by many?
