My Hope is in Christ Alone

In Christ alone my Hope is found! He is my Light, my Strength, my Song. What heights of love, what depths of peace! He’s my Comforter, my all-in-all. Christ, Who took on flesh, the fullness of God in helpless babe. This gift of love and righteousness was scorned by the very ones He came to save.

Colossians 1:27 - “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”

Romans 8:38-39 – “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

On that cross, as Jesus died, the wrath of God was satisfied. Christ took our every sin so that in Him we might live! Light of the world, bursting forth in glorious day, He rose from the grave and stands in victory! Sin’s curse has lost its grip, for I am bought by His precious blood. Nothing can ever pluck me from His hand until He returns or calls me home. I stand in the power of Jesus Christ!
