O Happy Day!

Happy Spring! Isn’t it refreshing to see the newness that the season brings? If you’ve been saved and your sins washed by the blood of Jesus, the Bible says, “you are a new creature” in Christ! You are no longer destined for hell … and not only that, Jesus has a mansion waiting for you in heaven when you pass from this life into the next! If that doesn’t make you happy, I don’t know what will! Hallelujah, O Happy Day when Jesus washed my sins away!

Ephesians 1:7 - “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” 2Corinthians 5:17 - “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2Corinthians 5:10 - “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” John 14:2 - “In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” Philippians 4:4 - “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.”

Believer, when is the last time you praised the Lord for saving your soul? Take a minute and think about what life would be like without Jesus, God’s Word or the Holy Spirit … where would you be? what would you do? What if Jesus hadn’t died to save mankind from our sins and we had only hell to “look forward to” when this life ends? If you haven’t already asked Jesus to save your soul, your eternal destination is hell. Do not waste another second … repent, pray and ask forgiveness and Jesus will save you. Then you, too, will be singing, “O Happy Day!” Today’s Song – Watch/Listen: “O Happy Day!” – Artists: Lillie Knauls,The Talley Trio (Gaither Music)
