Have you ever read the amazing story of the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel Chapter 37, where God restores dried bones to life? The LORD set Ezekiel in the midst of a valley of dry bones and asked him --
Ezekiel 37:3 - “And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.”
God made it so skin and flesh covered the bones again and He told the wind to blow upon the bodies and they were restored to life. God made dead men walk again! Ezekiel had faith that God not only would do it, but He could do it. Our faith in God makes all things possible too! Luke 18:27 - “And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
What an awesome representation of the power and grace of God Almighty! Hopeless sinners are given Hope! ‘Impossible’ has never stopped God! He saves, He delivers, He heals, He restores!
God can turn hopeless situations around in seconds. We see it all over the Scriptures, and ultimately in the story of our Saviour’s resurrection.
Saturday was silent, surely it was through
But since when has impossible ever stopped You?
Friday's disappointment is Sunday's empty tomb
Since when has impossible ever stopped You?
This is the sound of dry bones rattling …
My God is able to save and deliver and heal
And restore anything that He wants to!
Just ask the man who was thrown on the bones of Elisha
If there's anything that He can't do!
Just ask the stone that was rolled at the tomb in the garden
What happens when God says to move!
Live, live!
Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!
Christ-follower, look to the God of Hope, Who delivers from sin and has resurrection power, and see what faith in Him can do!
