Revival Starts How?
So you want to leave a legacy? Speak with authority? Believe beyond what you see? If you want to know the plans God has for you, it all starts where we all belong … kneeling in prayer to our Maker. Psalms 95:6 - “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.”
John 20:27 – “Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust [it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
When we are weak, God’s strength takes over. He will meet us on our knees but it starts with us and our willingness to humble ourselves and pray.
2Corinthians 12:10 - “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
Prayer isn’t always on our knees with head bowed. Many examples of prayer in the Bible are with heads and hands lifted up toward Heaven. 1Timothy 2:8 - “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” Lamentations 3:41 - “Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.” Psalms 134:2 - “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.”
We must ask ourselves why we often try to work outside of God, knocking down doors we shouldn’t be going through? It is God Who will take our burdens and break the lies that hold us back!
God is enough! He’s our revival song! It all starts with me and you, in prayer to Almighty God.
