See the Star

In less than 2 weeks, on Monday, Dec. 21, see “The Christmas Star of 2020”, an astronomical phenomenon where the planets Saturn and Jupiter align and form a star shape in their alignment. A rare phenomenon ... you have to go back to the 1200s to see something similar. The so-called “Christmas star” has sparked hope and excitement for believers around the globe.

See the star pierce the darkness, shining hope to all the earth. See the sky blaze with glory, angels praise the Saviour’s birth! See the joy, shepherds worship, amazed at all that they have seen. See the hope, wise men journey, bringing treasures to the King. See the Son, darkness flees for Love has come! The power of death will be undone, Christ is born! See the trust as humble Mary gazes at her Saviour's face. See the Love freely given, Christ reveals the Father's grace. See the dawning ...God with us in flesh and blood, giving up His throne above, here to save us by His Love. Glory in the highest heaven,

all the earth resound; God is with us now!

Matthew 2:9-10 - “When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.”
