Are you uncomfortable searching within yourself for the reasons why things are going wrong? Friend, it’s far from over! Come on and lean on Jesus’ shoulder! Break away the ties that bind; you don’t have to be afraid. Let’s all do right by one another. We can be the change! It starts with you and me.
1Peter 1:16 - “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” Matthew 7:14 - “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 12:13 - “Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.” Isaiah 61:1-2b - "The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound; 2 … to comfort all that mourn;"
It’s difficult to take the road less traveled; we need Jesus to put us back on our feet. Come on over and lean on His shoulder. Close the doors that have been left open. You don’t have to go there anymore! The things that have been broken, Jesus can restore. It all starts with you and me.
