The world’s struggle between the gospel of life and the culture of death is contemptuous to true Christ-followers. There’s a popular slogan for the pro-life movement, “Choose Life”, but the gift of life is so much more than a ‘choice’.
A decision or situation that creates life is a choice. Even in cases of non-consentual relations, a choice is made, as horrific as it is. Why exacerbate the situation with another bad choice to end a life that God created? There are alternatives.
God creates all things … for His pleasure … and He doesn’t make mistakes.
Revelation 4:11 - “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
Abortion doesn’t make a child go away, it only separates you from it ... spirits live on.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2a – “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2A time to be born, and a time to die; …”
I am God's miracle-in-the-making,
Proof that all things can work for the good.
Every life is sacred;
Every life is a gift;
and every life deserves the chance to live.
I am fingers and toes,
and heaven already knows
the name you'll pick out for me
already belongs to me.
I'm more than a choice;
I'm as real as the heartbeat you hear!
So don't close the book on me yet,
I’ve still got a long way to go;
Empty pages to fill!
When you hear my first cry,
When you look in my eyes,
you'll understand why
you brought me to life,
and the best part is still down the road!
I am a story untold.Everything physical is tied to something spiritual. God’s ways are higher; He’s got a plan.
Isaiah 55:9 - “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
If you or someone you love is pregnant and feeling unworthy of caring for God’s creation, pray and ask God to show you His plan. If you are not a Christ-follower, today is the day to become His child.
