Thank You Jesus

Updated: Sep 14, 2022

Did you know that feeling thankful can improve your health? According to research, the experience of gratitude can induce a sense of relaxation, improve the immune system, and decrease blood pressure. Not only that, thankfulness requires no physical effort and it’s available free to everyone!

James 1:17 - "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

So what are you thankful for? Have you told Jesus what you’re thankful for?

If you are a Christ-follower, most likely you have thanked Him for His sacrifice and forgiveness, for your family and friends, the good weather, good health, maybe the job He gave you or the home He provided. 1Chronicles 16:34 - “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.”

Have you thanked Him for summer nights and fireflies? songs that make you want to dance? What about His Lighting the way in dark times? or for picking you up when you stumble?

While we still have breath in our lungs, let’s get down on our knees and be thankful for all that He’s done!

Psalms 100:4 - “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”

Although we change, He stays the same ... and there’s no way we can say "Thank You" enough. Malachi 3:6a - "For I [am] the LORD, I change not; ..."

What if you woke up today with only the things that you thanked God for yesterday?
