Thanks for Giving

I dreamed I went to heaven and you were there with me. We walked upon the streets of gold beside the crystal sea. The angels were singing, then someone called your name and said, “You used to teach my Sunday School when I was only eight, and every week you would say a prayer before the class would start. One day when you said that prayer, I asked Jesus in my heart! Thank you for giving to the Lord … I am a life that was changed and am so glad you gave!” Then another man stood before you and said, “Remember the time a missionary came to your church and his pictures made you cry? You didn't have much money but you gave it anyway. Jesus took the gift you gave, and that's why I'm here today. Thank you for giving to the Lord! I am a life that was changed and I’m so glad you gave.” Matthew 20:28 - “Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” 1Corinthians 15:58 - “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1Cor. 3:13-14 – “Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.”
