Christ-followers have two natures: the new nature=after being saved (spiritual), and the old nature= before salvation (physical, worldly). Both natures are present constantly; the nature you feed the most controls you. With that in mind … if you’re doubting or fearful about something, why? You’ve got the Holy Spirit living inside you! The God Who says He will never leave nor forsake you has everything under control. So quit listening to that old nature, wasting time worrying … and start living! Enjoy your blessings! The devil wants you to doubt God, doubt yourself, and doubt your salvation … but the Bible says you can KNOW you are saved and your salvation is sealed with a promise. That’s what I know!
2Timothy 1:7 - “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Romans 8:15 - “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” 2Corinthians 7:1 - “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

But I find my peace when I realize that God's in control and I won't waste my time worried 'bout things I don't know. I may not know the future but I'm truly convinced life's more than just staying alive. Surrounded by voices, so angry with nothing to show; and I find that the more that I listen the less that I know. What I know is there'll be flowers in springtime and guitars sound better on an old porch swing! And what I know is loving your neighbor and forgiving each other can change everything. In the time that I'm here I'll choose Love over fear and just let the rest of it go. That's what I know!
