God never said He would give us silver or gold, or that we’d never feel the fire or shiver in the cold. But He did say we'd never walk through this world alone and to not make this world our home. He never said that fear wouldn't find us in the night or that loneliness was something we'd never have to fight. But He did say He'd be right there by our side and would always help us fight ... we must ask Him for help! But when God makes promises, He keeps them!
Leviticus 26:12 - “And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.” 1John 2:16-17 – “For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” John 14:2-3 – “In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.”
God never said we wouldn’t taste the bitter kiss of death, but He did say He'd be waiting on the other side. He promised to prepare a place and some day sooner than we think we can see Him face to face and sing with the angels. So believer, just keep on walkin', don't turn to the left or right; in the midst of darkness, He will be your Light. Hell can't separate us, we're gonna make it through!
