I've had many tears and sorrows, and questions for tomorrow; there have been times I didn't know right from wrong. But in every situation, God gave me blessed consolation that trials only come to make me strong. Through it all, I've learned to trust in Jesus and depend upon God’s Word.
1Corinthians 10:13 - “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 30:5 - “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”
I've been to lots of places and seen a lot of faces; there have been times I felt so alone. But in my lonely hours, Jesus lets me know that I’m His own. I thank God for the mountains, and for the valleys too; I thank Him for the storms He brought me through. For if I’d never had a problem, I wouldn’t know God could solve them and I’d never know what faith in God could do. Through it all, I’ve learned to trust Him and His Word.
