Transformed not Worldly Conformed

As Christians, we are called to be “peculiar” – meaning “set apart” from the ways of the world. Our lives should reflect Christ-like qualities. The goal should be to have someone look at your life and see that you are a Christian. More about being ‘peculiar.’

1Peter 2:9 - “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”
When they see you, do they see HIM?
All of us, at one time or another, have found ourselves at a crossroads between following God’s path and the ways of the world. Popular fads, trends or values often entice us. Understanding what God’s Word teaches on being “transformed” is important. Listen to this beautiful story and song.
Romans 12:2 - “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
The Bible tells us not to be conformed to this world but to be conformed to the image of his Son.
Will you choose the world’s way – or Yahweh?
If you have been spiritually born, you are a child of the King, an heir through Christ! You are God’s purchased possession.
1Corinthians 6:19-20 - "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. Christ died for you, won’t you live for Him?"
He chose you. Won’t you choose Him and His ways over worldly distractions and be peculiar for Him?
