Wave On Old Glory

Updated: Oct 3, 2020

Almighty God is our Authority and High Power. He established the government and appointed our founding fathers to write our country's laws ... based on Christian values. Our allegiance is first and foremost to God. Lord, in the face of all adversity, keep us united, free and strong. Romans 13:1-2 - "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation." 1Peter 2:13-14 - “Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.” God is in control! Christians should hesitate at living in active disobedience to those whom The Almighty has put in authority over us. If those in authority are obedient to God and we show no respect to them and/or their position of authority, that disrespect ultimately lands on God as the Giver of their authority. Our flag represents our God-given freedom and liberty. Betsy Ross made it, our brave military men and women protect it; it has been ripped and torn in battle; it rose from the smoke and ash of the twin towers for all the world to see. Thank you, Lord. Wave on, old glory, wave on!
