No one should ever love me like You do, Jesus. White lies and desperation, hard times and conversations. Yet, while I'm on this road, You take my hand. Somehow You really love who I am. I push You away, still You won't let go. Who am I to be loved by You? My wounds and my past are saying no one should ever love me like You do. I'm a train wreck, I'm a mess! You see the best and the worst in me. I don't understand where Your love comes from. Who am I to be loved by You? Romans 5:5-9 – “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
Friend, God created you and loves you despite your past. Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so! Nothing compares to the love of Jesus! God loves you more in one moment than anyone on earth could in a lifetime. Come to Jesus just as you are and He will make you just as He is!
