God’s Word is our compass for life, our ‘Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth’. In His Word, God warns us that there will come a time when His doctrine will be attacked and people will turn from His truth. 2Timothy 4:3-4 – “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
The time has come! The devil knows that by changing God’s Word, he can cunningly deceive those who read it. Look at all the 'versions' of the Bible today. In order to obtain a copyright, they must be changed at least 10%. The copyright allows money to be made from each sale; but God’s true Word gave the copyright to the people.
How do you know which one is God’s true Word?
God’s Word is inspired and complete, right down to the jot and tittle. Matthew 5:18 - “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” Do you want a ‘version’ of God’s Word, or the real thing?
‘El-Shaddai’ means ‘God Almighty’
‘El-Elyon na Adonai’ means ‘God in the highest, Oh, Lord’
‘Erkamka na Adonai’ means ‘We will love You, Oh, Lord’
Psalms 119:105 - “NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
What a blessing to have access to the very Words of God Almighty! Don't be fooled by modern ‘versions’. Are you reading words inspired by God or words written by, even in some cases, unsaved men?
God keeps His promises -- He saved His Word and it is settled in heaven. Psalms 119:89 - “LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.”
