The ups and downs of life here on earth can be overwhelming at times. It is such a great feeling when we’re in the ‘ups’ and things seem to be going smoothly! But the reality is, if we’re not in a trial at the moment, we’ve either just been through one or are about to be in another one!
Does your current battle seem never-ending and it’s wearing you down? Do you feel like you’re at the end of yourself, barely hanging on?
Look up! Look to the God Who heals broken hearts and binds up wounds! Our gracious God is full of compassion and mercy! Psalms 86:15 - “But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.”
Take a look at your trial the way God might view it. What is He trying to teach you; what can you learn from it? Sometimes the circumstances are unavoidable (such as illness, death of a loved one, etc.), but we can still glean from our experiences and use them for good at a later time.
Saved child of God, you are safe in His Love … sing Alleluia! Ask Jesus to water the garden of your life; to redeem your wintry trial for His glory.
If you are not a saved child of God, today is the day! When the gospel comes, light comes. When it comes to any place or any soul, it makes day there. Matthew 4:16 - “The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.”
Our God is faithful … and He brings the dawn!
