God humbled Himself and left heaven to become flesh (man-Jesus) and die for our sins. John 1:14a - “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” From great heights of glory, God entered in and became one of us! Alleluia!
He is the Light of the world, our treasure from heaven! John 8:12 - “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
Light of the world, Crown in a manger,
born for the Cross to suffer, to Save.
Death is the poorer and we are the richer
by the price that our Saviour paid. When we see and understand the gift we have been given, we are no longer blinded; no longer walking in darkness. When we receive The Light, we want to shout from the rooftop, “I Saw the Light!” and tell others about God’s saving grace!
Born-again believer, show the world what it means to have the Holy Spirit in you! Let your life be a reflection of His goodness. Matthew 5:16 – “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
For those wandering aimlessly with a life full of sin, today is the day to let our dear Saviour in! John 3:3b -
“... Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
