Jealous of the Angels

I didn't know today would be our last, or that I'd have to say goodbye to you so fast. I'm so numb, I can't feel anymore. But you took the hand of Jesus and walked through heaven's door.

John 5:24 - “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Psalms 91:11 - “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

It's not my place to question; only God knows why. You always made my troubles feel so small, you were always there to catch me when I'd fall. Your love lives on inside of me and I will hold on tight. I'm just jealous of the angels around the throne tonight.
