Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, Thanks

In just over one week, on Sunday, May 17, is a major upcoming event for Christianity in the nation’s capital. Every American is invited to the National Mall for a jubilee of prayer, praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God.

The Trump administration's "Rededicate 250" event is the 250th anniversary of May 17, 1776, when the Continental Congress dedicated the day to fasting, humiliation and prayer.

2Chronicles 7:14 - “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

This year, Americans are being encouraged to join their fellow patriots in Washington, D.C. and rededicate themselves as one nation under God. Those not attending are encouraged to pray, praise and give thanks locally.
