Revolutionary: [adjective] of, relating to, or constituting a revolution. Tending to or promoting revolution. Constituting or bringing about a major or fundamental change.
There’s so much hate in the world right now.
So why does kindness seem revolutionary? When did we let hate get so ordinary?
Mark 12:29-31 – “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment. 31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” Teach your children to be kind. Reach out to your neighbors. Volunteer your time to help others … all to the glory of God! “Christian” means “little Christ”. To be a Christian is to be like Jesus ... and to Love, not hate. Remember the “Golden Rule” (Luke 6:31).
Let's turn it around, flip the script; judge slow, Love quick. Maybe we don't agree on things but that doesn't mean we’ve got to be enemies!
Step back and take a big leap of faith and call a truce. All that energy it takes to hate, use it to LOVE instead.
There’s a better way. Trust Jesus!
Let’s get revolutionary and get out and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ! Yeah, revolutionary … revolutionary for Jesus!
