Ever wonder what heathens do during the Christmas season? Heathens, commonly referred to as “atheists” today, say they “don’t believe in the existence of God” … yet how can you “not believe” in something that you say “doesn’t exist”? Whenever facts are rejected, it’s necessary to counter with an alternative ... precisely what the heathen do ... they reject God’s revelation of Himself and instead of worshipping Creator God Who made man in His image, they make gods in their image and worship creature rather than Creator. The Almighty’s invisible power and Godhead are so clearly shown in His Word and works that man is simply without excuse. The truth isn’t to the heathen’s liking so they attempt to reason themselves out of what they dislike. But the truth is: John 3:20 - “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”
Mark 13:26 - “And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.” Romans 14:11 - “For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” 1John 4:8b - “… for God is love.” Romans 1:18-25 - "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man ... 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”
Lyrics: Well, I know this life is filled with sorrow and there are days when the pain just lasts and lasts. But I know there will come a day when all our tears are washed away. With a break in the clouds, His glory is coming down! And in that moment, every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that God is Love! Every heart set free, everyone will see that God is Love … and Love has come for us all. On that day we will stand amazed at our Saviour, God and King! Just imagine, seeing the face of amazing grace! Our hearts will rise up and sing, “Glory, glory, hallelujah! Thank You for the Cross! Christ has paid the cost!” Love has come!
Remember, EVERY knee shall bow. Humbling yourself and admitting you are a sinner isn’t easy, but the payoff is out of this world!
