Christian, are you tired and worn out in ministry? Have you lost your zeal for Christ? Are you just going through the motions and serving out of obligation instead of inspiration? Perhaps it’s a ‘root’ problem, not a ‘fruit’ problem. Get back to your first Love … Christ.

1John 4:19 - “We love him, because he first loved us.”
Commit to not only reading but meditating on God’s Word on a regular basis. We have been given the gift of Scripture to grow closer to God. Spending time in His Word each day helps us learn His character, promises and teachings as well as build our faith.
When we have a deeper understanding of Who God Is, it makes it easier for us to trust and rely on Him … not only in the good times, but the difficult times too. Daily Reading Plan
Don’t lose your heart for Christ; don’t get caught in the trap of going through the motions of good works.
Works for the Lord don’t get us to heaven; works are a result of salvation.
Fueling yourself by mere ‘works’ will soon cool into a mere ‘religion.’
Revelation 2:2-4 – “I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: 3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. 4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.”
Fight the good fight! Commit to a relationship with Christ and get to know Him through His Word. Minister to others because you desire to share Christ with them and want to serve God, not because you signed up for something and/or feel the need to do it out of obligation. God wants our time, talents and treasures ... but only with a willing heart. God loves a cheerful giver!
JESUS: There is no greater love.
John 15:13 - “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
