My Dearest Friend

If someone were to ask you, “Who is your dearest friend?” how would you answer?

Over my lifetime, I have been blessed with many friends, but my dearest friend can make a sinful soul whiter than snow! He can walk on water, calm a raging sea, cause blind eyes to open and make the lame walk, just to name a few. He’s a miracle worker, and I call Him Jesus! He wants to be your friend … and Saviour … too. Perhaps you already call Him friend?

Philippians 2:5-11 “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; 11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

If anyone tries to tell you that Jesus is not God in the flesh, close your ears! God said that He is the ONLY Saviour and God cannot lie. Understanding this truth is essential to God’s plan of salvation. Scripture clearly says there is only one God. God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit are 3 divine persons in one. Colossians 2:9 “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” Read Colossians Chapter 2 for further explanation
