Paid In Full
Imagine, someone knocks at your door and says, “Congratulations! You have won a gift! It is waiting for you, but you must claim it …accept it … and it is yours. The cost was high, but it is paid in full with an eternal lifetime warranty.”
Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
What if I told you it is true? Jesus has a gift for you. He gave it all for you and me. He left heaven, came to earth as a humble servant, willingly suffered and gave up His life for our sins, rose again after three days to conquer sin and death. He offers freely, to all who will accept it, the gift of atonement for our sins. In fact, it is the only way to heaven.
Maybe you’ve already accepted the gift. If that’s the case, it’s the best decision you've ever made!
If you haven’t accepted the gift of eternal life in heaven, it is waiting for you. (A no-brainer deal, dude!)
Ephesians 2:8 - “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” 1Corinthians 6:20 - “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.” Romans 8:2 - “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Colossians 2:14 – “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;”
Sounds pretty simple, and it is. Simple but not easy. Don’t be fooled into thinking that’s all you do - accept the gift and that’s it. No! Now our new life in Christ begins. We are to be servants, just like Jesus. Working for the Lord isn’t always easy, but the retirement plan is out of this world!
When you become a child of God through spiritual birth, you’ll want to tell the whole world and share the good news about our Jesus … Who paid our sin debt in full!
