Love makes the world go ‘round … ever heard that? There is truth to the saying, because God is love. 1John 4:8 -“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”
Without God, we wouldn’t have life at all. And outside of Christ, there is no reality, logic or reason for anything ... everything was made for Christ. John 1:3 - “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
We must fully depend on Jesus, for without Him we have nothing … but with Him we have everything! When you don’t have Christ dwelling in you (through spiritual birth), you have no power over sin, satan, and death. It is through Christ we have the victory! 1John 4:10-16 – “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” (Propitiation = substitution. Jesus took and paid the penalty for our sin.)
You are set free when you accept Jesus’ gift of salvation!
1John 4:13-14 - "Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world."
Lord Jesus, if I sing but don't have Love,
I waste my breath with every song;
I bring an empty voice, a hollow noise.
If I speak with a silver tongue, but don't have Love,
I leave a bitter taste with every word I say.
So let my life be the proof Your love.
Let my love look like You, Jesus, and what You're made of …
how You lived, how You died.
If I give to a needy soul but don't have Love, then who is poor?
It seems all the poverty is found in me.
When it's all said and done, when we sing our final song,
only Love remains. 
Lord, help me live my life as proof of Your Love!
