Today isn't about the picnics, barbecues or the day off work. It's about remembering those who serve or have served for the freedoms we enjoy. It's about the sacrifice.
1John 2:2 - “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” Romans 5:8 - “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Jesus left the glory of heaven to live a sinless life on earth, to serve and to die in our place ... the ultimate sacrifice. He offers an eternal gift. Won't you accept it? Today, remember ... remember the sacrifice.
