Sheltering Tree

A friend is like a mighty sheltering tree, a place of refuge we can run when trouble comes, someone we can count on. When the storms of life are blowing, there's nothing like a friend who will get down on their knees and lift us up before the king of kings!

Proverbs 27:17 - “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” James 5:16 - “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Have there been days you were sure you couldn't make it through? When clouds of doubt rolled in and you didn't know what to do? Don't give up! You can face the highest mountain and the climb won't feel so high when you ask your friend to lift you up to Jesus ... He'll be right there by your side.
